where so you show your horses?? i am trying to get into this but i can’t find anywhere to show mine. i live in Australia so if you know of any there that would be great.
There are a number of live shows near where I live, and many across the United States. Our are usually governed by an organization called NAMHSA. I believe that the main Australian showing club is called Down Under Model Horse Society. They have a website at http://downundermhs.com/ which lists upcoming shows. Hopefully the folks there can get you started :)

Schleichs in particular, or for painting models in general? If you are thinking about Schleichs in particular, you might read over my posts on priming and sealing them. For painting horses in general, a good place to start is my tutorials page :)

Do you know of any model horse shows in California? I’d love to get into model horse showing, but I have no idea where the shows are! Thanks
The best way to find shows for a certain area is by looking on the NAMHSA website under Member Shows by Region. California is Region 2. There’s also probably a Region 2 Yahoo group and/or Facebook page you could join to find out about upcoming events.
